    That it is very messy and complicated. :) I have a distant relative that is an accountant, he is discreet and helps me out a lot. He is a really good guy.

    I honestly don't understand lots of the tax code. I really don't see why it needs to be so complex. Or law.

    Laws and tax codes are pretty messy in this country. My local city has a 10 page ordinance on putting up signs. Do we really need 10 pages on proper sign display usage?

    But that is life and doubt it'll change anytime soon in our lifetimes.

    Sucks we need universal healthcare and so many items that we need are off the table in this bill. Single payer, allowing insurance to be sold across state lines, insurance costs leveled, allowing more medical colleges, lawsuit reform for malpractice, disallowing pre-existing conditions clauses, no increase costs for veterans and allowing doctors to chose the best treatment not the insurance or government....

    Yet the bill has a fine and possibly jail time for not buying insurance, no government option and mandatory counseling for elderly and denied costs for elderly..

    WTF its like both sides the Democrats and Republicans want a shit bill so neither side will vote on it.

    Riding my bike to work takes about 30 minutes. By bus, it takes almost an hour. I could shave my route down to 15 minutes by bike if I didn't have to cut through so many residential areas to avoid the in-fucking-sane industrial zone that requires I lack a survival instinct to try. I also have to keep on the lookout for people in cars wanting to fling their doors out into me while I'm in the bike lane, as well as all the random car dandruff that winds up in the bike lane. >:( I hate car dandruff.

    Here Marx, since this whole polite thing seems a bit foreign to you, let me help:

    Hey amdela, thanks for taking the time to answer all these questions! Coming from another ESL teacher, I have a few questions for you. When deciding where to go, I ended up picking the place that looked the friendliest to me (South Korea). From an outside perspective, China seems a bit authoritarian, and the wages aren't quite as good. Combined with their less developed state, can you, from personal experience, explain why China might be a better spot for prospective ESLers, and you why you picked it over all the other options?

    Thanks, Marx...

    edit: Amdela, I (feral), am actually interested in this one if you feel like answering. I understand if not...

    edit2: Beat me to it, thanks.

    USAA Federal Savings Bank, I've been using them for years. Here are the upsides:

    1) Since they don't have ATM machines they just refund the fees that other banks charge you.

    2) Competitive interest rates.

    3) If you have more than one account they transfer funds to cover overcharges for free. It's no big deal, some months I only fund one account and get 15 overdrafts, no problem. (There are NSF charges if both accounts run dry.)

    On the downside, they don't have physical locations all over the place so I mail in my checks. I tend to get about 2 checks a month so it's not a big deal, maybe easier than going to the bank. Still, it might be nice to have the option.

    >Your first paragraph was an assumption.

    I think it was a very reasonable assumption. You will find that making assumptions is pretty much necessary to function as a normal human being. Which I *assume* is something you do/desire, at least to some extent.

    >Now it'll be interesting to see if I get downvoted for dissenting with an upvoted comment.

    Hah! How can you *assume* that downvotes imply that the downvoters downvoted because you dissented against an upvoted comment?

    >Your second was just preachy ... continues in the preachy tone ... that's just my opinion.

    Your entire post has a condescending tone. Just my opinion.

    This doesn't sound random:

    If a laptop or computer hardware device has been targeted as suspect, and is subsequently accessed and is found to contain obscenity or hate propaganda, the laptop or device should be detained...

    Material should only be targeted for closer examination when it meets one or more of the following criteria:

    (a) The invoice description of the goods, and/or any other documentation available, describes the importation and gives an indication that the shipment may contain suspect material that has been previously prohibited by the CBSA;

    (b) The exporter is known to deal in obscenity or hate propaganda;

    (c) The geographic origin of the production or publishing company is known in relation to obscenity or hate propaganda;

    (d) There is approved intelligence information relating to the shipment;

    (e) There is other information known about the goods that would lend itself

    Your problem may be his presence. Try masturbating with him in the room sleeping or under covers reading or watching TV with his back to you. Whatever makes you comfortable. I'm assuming you are a teen or in your twenties. You have to figure yourself out and then get comfortable with it. Maybe you have some fetish or kink at the back of your mind that would do it for you. Maybe you will never ever have an orgasm from having sex. Just enjoy it for what it is without over thinking(I'm not saying you should smoke pot or anything;-). You're getting laid so you are far ahead of most redditors.

    >the truth is that the majority of /r/jailbait's demographic is male.

    While I agree this is probably true, I'm going to need whatever proof you must have since you know it's true.

    >That's not sexist, it's a reasonable assumption.

    Wait, reasonable assumption now? I thought it was the truth? So now it's just *probably* the truth.

    How is saying "Adult men fantasizing about kids young enough to be their own?", when you could have said "Adults fantasizing about kids young enough to be their own?" not sexist? You make it sound like women are completely innocent and don't have anything to do with things like this.

    I hope no one takes legal advice from you. Lawyers love twisting what people say and you could fuck someone up. (I'm only two sentences in too...)

    >Looking at the posting guidelines on the subreddit's sidebar it seems that they've had issues with the posting of illegal images in the past, so it would be foolish to assume that they won't see more posted in the future.

    then

    >Furthermore from a legal standpoint, all it takes is one image to land this site in legal trouble.

    So that one image that will destroy reddit...was...*already* posted? And what, it was taken down? So I guess it might be safe to assume that if others were posted they would be removed too. You can't control what people post, but you can control what stays. If the mods allowed actual CP to stay then I wouldn't even be talking right now and the subreddit would have been shut down like /r/pedo.

    >And I have no doubt that there are plenty of over zealous lawyers out there just waiting for their chance to take on a popular site (if only to make their name known)

    Yes I'm sure when people hear about that on the news they will all say "omfg I can't believe reddit had CP!", and that lawyer will be the next Johnny Cochran for taking on such a high profile case.

    NO FAT CHIX !

    But on a serious note, in a relationship, someone usually needs to make an effort to make it work. Ideally, it should be both of you, but since you're willing, at the moment, to make this realtionship work by losing weight, then please, do lose weight. If he does notice you losing weight and starts to treat you better, then you're already starting to make it work.

    But if you lose weight and he still does not find you physically attractive, leave him, find someone else who does find you atractive. Because iut just ain't worth it to keep being sad and unsure about your realtionships.

    I tried doing this on badlands. From what I learned in 15 minutes or so, its

    * pretty much 2 1/2 sticky jumps instead of 1 sticky jump

    * only allows a very narrow angle you can launch airborne into and get the midair sticky det to propel you

    * gives you very small airborne maneuverability, which means airshot sammich

    ^^ That there is the reason why it sucks. You can't pick a better launch angle, and you can't airstrafe between launching and detting the sticky.

    Just do a 1 sticky jump and save yourself the hassle. =)

    Well, I'm a girl, but let me tell you about my brother: He didn't date until he was about 20. He's this brilliant man with incredible artistic talent and a tremendous mind, and yet he just hadn't found a girl with whom he clicked. Finally, after much pain and what not, he found someone he clicked with, and viola, first girlfriend.

    Here's what you have to remember about we, the females. We're quite a bit like you and not nearly as judgmental as culture tends to assert. "Hello" is a valid icebreaker, and this just in: A woman that shoots you down with the clear intention to harm you is not the type of woman you want to be dating. The type of person you want to go for is someone who is respectful of you (regardless of whether or not you seem awkward when you first approach).

    We like being talked to and treated just like you treat your guy friends. We like to hear about nerdy quirks, fun habits, what you're studying, who your friends are, all of that. I think everyone's scared of revealing those parts of themselves because we feel like it'll come off as stupid: if you're talking to someone worth the effort, it won't come off that way as all.

    Another possibility (that I've witnessed): I had a friend very similar to you in regards to this situation. He was a friend of my then boyfriend, and he was ridiculously smart. I considered him to be basically the most datable guy on the block since sliced bread (I love mixing metaphors). Anyway, frankly, his problem was that no one was smart enough to follow him in conversation. He seemed to think he was unattractive: NEWS FLASH: he was amazing, and there really weren't any women in his life worth dating.

    No, no, no.

    He's not wrong, he's just structured his argument poorly. What Bram is *trying* to say is that security people who stump for digital signatures as a be-all-end-all means of verifying that someone claimed to write or do something may be misdirecting their efforts - Bram's implying that maybe an equally effective way of validating someone's actions is to just ask for a loose-trust kind of signature much like the real world operates on, and then verify that after the fact iff disagreements arise. There's case law IRL for this so there's more chance that things will get sorted out properly.

    This is a valid point to disagree on - I do disagree on it. But I don't think he's conflating digital/analogue signatures in the way you're implying.

    That being said -

    Bram, if you're reading this, please learn to formulate a viewpoint better :P

    When you're focusing on something, whether it's your self image, your ability to orgasm, your sexual performance, or even just the situation itself, it can be really hard to orgasm because climaxing means letting go of control.

    What you do by yourself when you climax can offer some clues. Do you close your eyes or look away? Do you cover your face, do you keep your legs closed or open? Are they always one way or the other?

    You can try a few things to reduce your own controlling involvement over the situation. You could either make the room completely dark, allowing the darkness blanketing you both to make it an exploration, or if you're comfortable with it, allow him to blindfold you.

    Light bondage can also remove performance anxiety from you because what happens is no longer in your hands. It's not necessary to go all out for whips and chains, simply using silk scarves to hold your wrists can work, or you can be asked to hold on to the end of bed with the promise of bondage if you let go.

    Finally, and this may sound strange if you've never experimented with power exchange in a sexual relationship, you could allow him to control when you are allowed to orgasm, even when you masturbate, even if he isn't present.

    This shifts the control over your orgasm away from you, and allows him to both tease and guide you in your pleasure. When he permits you to masturbate yourself to orgasm, even that becomes something that is his to give to you. You may even find that you are both aroused and freed from anxiety when you don't even have the permission to climax, no matter how turned on you get, without his say so.

    You may even end up begging for it. :)

    Bla bla bla bla and more bla bla bla

    If suffering Americans won't start a real civil disobedience to show their will, nothing is gonna ever change, it's all bla bla. Obama has healthcare for himself but he cannot fight for the people more than the people can fight for themselves. Americans that vote for him are just a bunch of wussies, when those who start to undermine his thing, no one organized a shit to counter-attack (as in those shameful city halls screamers). What do people think will Obama do if he got no fucking back-up from the people who voted for him? He'll just back off, because he'll end up thinking, for a good reason, that it doesn't worth the fucking headache.

    So, Yeah, Americans keep on shouting on Blogs, that will help.

    It depends on a lot of factors.

    Do you have an emerency fund? Are you carrying debt? What are you investing for and when will you need this money? Do you have insurance? Does your employee have a 401K? Do they match? What other investments do you have?

    There is probably a hundred other questions. It's really difficult to say "you should invest in X".

    It would be like asking "What kind of computer should I buy?" It really depends on what you are going to use the computer for. My answer would be completely different depending on if you are a grandma just wanting to read emails versus a teenager wanting to play the latest video games.

    Sorry, but it really is a lot more complicated then "put all your money in ABC stock'. In my other comment I suggestion some books to get started, I would suggest reading those before putting your money anywhere.

    In my early twenties, I got my shit together. Did well in school. Post-graduate degree. Went from being fat to being fairly lean. Someone noticed. A 42 year old woman with the body of a teenager. She helped me get over a lot of my woman issues, and I'm forever grateful to her.

    Now I'm doing ok with women. Still have trouble with picking them up, but everything after that point it a breeze. Still have some self-worth issues, but that usually means I'm that much more dedicated to pleasing the girl I'm with. They don't mind the attention.

    All the above are fantastic. Let me humbly add Thomas Hardy and Drummer Hodge, killed in the Boer War.

    They throw in Drummer Hodge, to rest

    Uncoffined – just as found:

    His landmark is a kopje-crest

    That breaks the veldt around;

    And foreign constellations west

    Each night above his mound.

    Young Hodge the Drummer never knew –

    Fresh from his Wessex home –

    The meaning of the broad Karoo,

    The Bush, the dusty loam,

    And why uprose to nightly view

    Strange stars amid the gloam.

    Yet portion of that unknown plain

    Will Hodge forever be;

    His homely Northern breast and brain

    Grow to some Southern tree,

    And strange-eyed constellation reign

    His stars eternally.
